Privacy Policy
What we collect
When you create an account, we store your name, age, email address, and password (hashed — we never store it in plain text). When you submit a hazard report, we store the photo, video, optional description, and GPS coordinates you provide.
How we use it
Report data (photo, video, location) is used to classify the hazard, assess risk, and route it to the correct municipal department. Your account email is used for login and, if you enable them, notification preferences (daily weather, hazard alerts, incident status updates).
Who can see your reports
Department staff assigned to your report's category can see the photo, video, location, and description in order to act on it. Aggregate, de-identified statistics (counts, risk scores) may be shown to city administrators on area-level dashboards.
